About Josie

At one time my main 'best thing to do ever in SL' was to sing..I was first and foremost a live music artist in Second Life, a vocalist.. I would sing at live music venues and entertain and have a whole lot of fun whilst I was doing it.
I'm was and still am lucky to have some great friends, my wonderful and amazing partner George Downes and a fantastic group that would follow me about and always bring fun and laughter to my shows.

I've decided to take a break from that for a while for various reasons that I won't go into here.. sooo what now?... Well:
I love the diversity of the communities in Second Life, how residents are so willing to share their knowledge and talents.  I love the live music, the generosity of everyone when it comes to supporting a good cause, the art... take a browse through some of the Second Life Flickr groups to get an idea of what an artist can achieve using Second Life as a backdrop or point of inspiration.  I love the machinima that is produced in Second Life and I love to dress my avatar in some of the weird and wonderful creations that are available.

I also love to travel and discover when I have the time.   Second Life can be a lonely place at times but it is never a place where you can be bored.  Some of the places I will talk about will only be there for a short time, others have been there for as long as I can remember...and no doubt will be there long after I've gone.  That is just the way it is.

This blog will be a chronicle of my travels, my friends, my daft moments and the general madness that surrounds us in our virtual home, I do hope you will enjoy that journey with me.
